About Us

SEMBILAN RESOURCES (M) SDN BHD (company registration 379852-V) was incorporated on 15th March 1996. The organization’s main focus is the operations and management of hotels. The Company has experience in managing a few places such as Kemang Indah Kondominium, Ocean View Resort and currently managing Golden Straits Villas Beach Resort.

Area control, operations and administration will fall under the responsibility of Sembilan Resources Management Sdn Bhd. Golden Straits Villas Beach Resort has an area space of 29,601 square meters. It has 72 apartment units, 6 halls, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, a tennis court, convenience store and a food court.

It is a 100% owned Bumiputra Company and has been involved in the Tourism industry since 1996 when the company was formed. It is also registered with the Finance Ministry, Malaysia.

The organization has a highly capable and experienced workforce in the hotel industry that is able to manage and deliver required duties to satisfy the customer’s needs.

Golden Straits Villas is one of the tourism destination, and also the ideal place for various training and human development for the workforce of Government Agencies and the private sector.

Our Target

Apart from the benefits given to local tourist and Government Agencies, we are also targeting the ‘Backpacking’ group. This group of people love to travel all around with minimal accommodation cost.

The ‘Backpacking’ traveling and holidaying concept is becoming more popular especially among the youths from CHINA.

Based on the statistics provided by the Malaysian Tourism Ministry, the total number of tourist coming to Malaysia has increased to 15.7 million people in the year 2004, which is an increase of 48% compared to the year 2003. From this total, 550,241 are ‘backpacking’ tourist.

We also target a further increase of 20% in early 2006 if this programme receives the approval and support of all the related parties including the Malaysian Tourism Ministry and Bank Pembangunan Malaysia.
